Water Conservation Program

The purpose is to ensure that water is effectively conserved, managed and livelihood systems are developed to a level where local communities will benefit.

Project objectives:
1. Improve water harvesting and conservation through rainwater harvestings and protection of water sources,
2. Promote hygienic conditions with safe sanitation and access to clean water in schools & health centres,
3. Promote sustainable land use practices for enhanced farm productivity and enhanced soil and water management measures,
4. Promote good governance and management of water, forests and land based natural resources through advocacy, capacity building and collaboration among different stakeholders,
5. Build capacity of the local community and other partners to sustainably manage the water catchments.
